If it’s a warm enough night, I’ll sit outside after dinner. This night, I went to sit in my usual spot and after getting settled, this bird came from the yard onto the patio. And just sat there.
I took out my phone and took a picture, then got a little closer and took another picture. Each time I expected the bird to just take off. But it never did. Letting this close range phone photograph to happen. I sat back down, and the bird stayed on the patio until I went in.
I had to use Chat GPT to determine the type of bird. American Robin was the answer provided. I don’t claim to know bird species, and if you know better than AI, please correct me in the comments.
