North Adams was taking during a trip to, you guess it, North Adams. It was an impromptu weekend trip with no real agenda. Just go to a place I haven’t been before and walk around. This picture is of the main road in town. The classic small town America architecture with three imposing church steeples, and the mountains proving the backdrop, made this composition interesting. It took me several attempts on my phone to capture this image. I didn’t have a DSLR with me.
I highly recommend visiting MASS MoCA if you are ever in the area, and plan for spending a full day there. The museum is much bigger than I imagined. I spent about half a day there, and there was much I didn’t see.
I also recommend visiting Jacks Hot Dog Stand for lunch. I stumbled across this place while wandering the town. It was so good, I tried to visit it again before leaving the next day.
North Adams was taken in March 2026 with an iPhone 17 Pro. It has been edited in Adobe Lightroom.
