The Cathedral
The Cathedral was taken in April of 2022 during a walk through New York City. This walk was specifically to try some new wide angle photography. So I went down 5th avenue and took as many pictures as I could. This photograph surprised me when I uploaded it from the GoPro. I wasn’t expecting shots like this to be produced by such a small device made for video capture.
New York City is my favorite place to take photographs. There are so many iconic shots to get and you never get the same picture twice. St. Patrick’s Cathedral is near the top of the list of iconic shots to get. This is the first NYC photography I’m sharing here, but it won’t be the last.
The photograph was taken on a GoPro HERO10. The wide angle lens and compact size of the GoPro makes it one of my favorite cameras to have on me in the city. It has been edited in Adobe Lightroom.
