I shared earlier with the photograph Raven, in the summer of 2024 I took my first trip to a national park. I can’t believe it took me this long in life to go, and if you’ve ever considered going to a national park, just go. It is an amazing experience.
Not surprisingly, there was a lot of wildlife on the hikes I went on. A lot of squirrels running around. I was taking a picture of the scenery from the trail, and this squirrel walked right up and posed for the camera. I quickly shifted my focus and captured this image.
I enjoy taking these not so wildlife photos while I’m out on hikes, and plan to share more in the future.
Squirrel was taken in August 2024 at Zion National Park with a Sony a6000 and a 55-210mm lens. It has been edited in Adobe Lightroom.
